What this site collects
I’m Jericho Zabalo. This is my own site, about my own Bible study work — there’s no company and no organization behind it, and nobody else has a login to it. So here, plainly, is everything it knows about you.
If you only read the page
Nothing. There’s no account and no comment box. You can read every word here and close the tab without me ever learning that you came.
I set no cookies of my own, but one thing on this page does track, and I’ll say it plainly: the Meta pixel — the Facebook one — so my occasional ads can find people who have already been here instead of interrupting strangers. It sets Meta’s own cookies, tells Meta that a visit happened, and notes when someone starts a gift, completes one (with its amount), joins the community, or asks for the starter guide — never what you typed: not your name, not your email, not your message. If anything else ever starts running here, this page changes first.
The site is hosted by Vercel, which keeps the ordinary web-server records any host keeps. I don’t go through them looking for people.
If you give
The giving form asks for the amount you choose, and — unless you tick “give anonymously,” which hides them — a name and an email for you. Both are optional: leave either blank and the gift is recorded as anonymous, with nothing about you in it. There’s also a tick for making it monthly, and room for a short message if you’d like. I keep what you filled in, plus whether the payment went through and the payment date, in my own database.
The payment itself happens on PayPal, the payment company: pressing “Give” takes you to their secure page, and you pay there — with a PayPal account, or a card. This site never sees your card or bank details — PayPal only tells it that the payment went through. PayPal has its own privacy rules for what you enter on their page.
What you give is a personal gift to me as a person; there is no organization here to give to.
If you join the community
The “Join the community” form asks for your name and your email, and nothing else. I keep them in my own database, and send you one email with the link to the Bible Study Tayo community on Viber — the same link the page shows you right away.
Joining it happens in Viber itself, which is Rakuten Viber’s app with its own privacy rules. Leave the community there whenever you like.
If you ask for the starter guide
The starter-guide form asks for your name and your email, and nothing else. I keep them in my own database and send you one email with the link to the guide — the same guide the page shows you right away.
Asking for the guide doesn’t add you to any list: that one email is the whole of it.
The emails that follow
Once PayPal confirms your gift, I send you one thank-you email — to the address you gave, if you gave one. If you made it monthly, you’ll also get a gentle reminder at the start of each month, with the latest news from the Bible studies and a link to give again. Nothing is ever charged automatically. Joining the community sends the one email with its link, and asking for the starter guide sends the one email with the guide’s link. Nothing else — there is no other list you get added to.
Every email I send from this site carries a one-click unsubscribe link at the bottom. Clicking it is the whole thing: your address is written down as one I must not write to again, and the reminders stop. No login, no reply, no reason needed.
Where your details don’t go
I don’t sell, rent, or share anyone’s details. Nothing you give me is ever uploaded to Facebook, Meta, or any other advertising platform — not what you typed into a form, not the email addresses, not anyone I know personally. The pixel above is the only thing that reaches Meta from this site, and it carries none of that.
This site also has no admin panel and no logins at all, which is deliberate. I read what people send me straight from the database myself. Nobody else has it.
The photos
They’re real Bible study sessions and real people. Every photo is published with the consent of the people in it — I ask them when the photo is taken, before it ever goes up here.
If you’re in one and you’d rather not be, write to me and I’ll take it down. You don’t have to give a reason.
Asking me for any of it
Write to supportjericho@biblestudytayo.com. I’ll tell you exactly what’s stored under your name, correct it, or delete it — it’s a small database and it’s mine, so this takes me a minute, not a month.
